The best quality of TRADITIONAL Cold Porcelain on the market:
• Ready to use, it is translucent, elastic and has a pearly appearance, which makes it ideal for making flowers and other type of creations.
• It allows long-lasting creations over time since this product, when it dries, is not affected by environmental humidity.
• TRADITIONAL can be stretched to a very thin thickness.• If you want to add color you have to dye it, even for white color.
• Our Nicron Pigments are highly concentrated color specially formulated for mixing with TRADITIONAL Cold Porcelain.
• You could also add color to Nicron TRADITIONAL using acrylic paint, petals dust, food color or oil color, etc.
• After it dries up its final color is going to be two levels darker than how it looks when fresh. Dark colors are easily achieved with just a bit of Nicron color Pigment or any other color addition.
• Can be glued onto any type of surface or object using PVA white glue, or another glue of greater strength if required.
• A wire or wooden stick connecting two pieces is recommended for modelling figures, in addition to glue.
• This clay is a modelling material and will stick to wood, glass, wire, paper and plastic, acrylic and most of fabrics.
• This clay dries firmly within 24 - 48 hours, it will depend on the volume of the creation.
• Nicron TRADITIONAL is not edible but is made of all non-toxic materials (as per ASTM D 4236 standards).
• To model figurines we recommend mixing this porcelain with our Soft Porcelain in a 1:2 ratio for modelling, that is, one portion of Nicron TRADITIONAL Porcelain with two portions of Nicron SOFT Porcelain.
